Milestone’s Conditional Use Permit (CUP) was unanimously denied by the Town of Long Lake Planning Commission and the Town Board. Subsequently, Washburn County Zoning Committee approved the CUP with conditions; on appeal, the Washburn County Board of Appeal (BOA) confirmed. However, to date, these initial approvals have been appealed.
