Milestone’s Conditional Use Permit (CUP) was unanimously denied by the Town Zoning Committee and Town Board. In fact, there was not one citizen present who voiced support for the proposed gravel pit. Subsequently, Washburn County approved the CUP with conditions; however, to date, these initial approvals have either been rescinded and/or appealed.
